Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

About Us

We are a professional and friendly accountancy firm providing accountancy, tax and business advisory services to a wide range of clients. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, approachable team with a positive working environment. We are looking for a receptionist with administrative experience within a professional practice, who will play a key role in the smooth running of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and by telephone, maintaining a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Schedule appointments, manage meeting rooms, and maintain office diaries.
  • Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management (including submitting accounts and tax returns to authorities using our accountancy software).
  • Assist with the preparation of client onboarding and accompanying documentation.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post.
  • Maintain office supplies and support the organisation of the office.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator within a professional practice (accountancy, legal, or financial services).
  • Strong administrative and organisational experience.
  • Excellent typing and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience in handling confidential information appropriately.
